A tad on posting

Even though I don't really like blabbing about myself, it often turn out to go that way. Unfortunately for both you and me.

Sometimes it just seems easier to write about what's going on in my life and what situations I come to face that discussing ideas, ideologies and all those big "I"s. Not to mention that it's really dorky discussing things when it's actually just me who's typing them up. One tends to lose the feedback affect that way.

I don't really fear people disliking my ideas or attitudes (after all, we're all bound to come to that point eventually, but it's somehow hard to put it all out there. For some it's easy (and believe me, I've run into all kinds of blogs), but I seem to be on the shy side. There's always that tiny chance that someone I know(and someone I don't really want to read this) will stumble upon it.

Mental hinderance, I guess. I wish it wasn't there, but it is. And that's the reason I'll keep it within boundaries, even though it might be liberating to simply let it all out.

I digress.

Even though I wish there was some more content to this blog, I hope no one is taking it too seriously too keep it against me. Sometimes I get enthusiastic and sometimes I just can't be bothered. Sometimes I write about ideas, but sometimes I just rant on. Sometimes I write about what I do and what I want to do, and sometimes I just upload a couple of photos.

For those of you who bear with me, thank you! If stopping by and reading a couple of lines while sipping your coffee makes you have a short break, unwind and take a breath, I'm happy...

Note: This post was actually originally titled 'Aborigines - Chapter Three (being that Chapter Two was long overdue, I skipped it)', but I obviously went a bit off topic, so I'll leave that for the next one.

I know, I know.

And I do know. It's been a while. So much to write, but so little time.

I'll try to write when I can. I have bits and pieces laying all round. I just have to get them all together.

Here's a teaser until that happens...

Perth. I like.

A good Monday

Today started off quite bad.

I woke up after what felt like seven seconds of sleep, it was still dark outside and it was time to go to work, and it's been raining for days. It kind of felt more like England than Australia. I sat up in my bed, still a bit unsure of my exact whereabouts.

Luckily (or not, considering the status of my brain), it wasn't time for work. Actually, it was 01.10 and I still had another couple of hours of sleep ahead of me. Nevertheless, from what I hear from people, it was a weird night. H and G didn't get much sleep either, and a couple more people at work were zombieing around the office.

Still, that didn't bring me down. I remembered to go out to the terrace and get my clothes off the line. It was surely going to rain, so I thought I better take it off and place it on random stuff all over the terrace.

Even though it started raining as soon as I left the office - while it's been sunny all day while I was sitting in the office - my clothes were safe and sound (and dry) by the time I got home. I was caught in a bit of rain, but it didn't really matter. Although in a weird way, it made me feel a bit more local.

I went to check a flat and I have to say it looks great. Well, at least it looks like it does on the photos. It's right by the train station, seven minutes from work, and the price is acceptable. Right at the limit I'm not really willing to go over. And I'd have a spare room for all the people who'd eventually crash.

After I got home, I realized that my Master card had arrived and I found some more important post in the letter box. Nothing for H and G, but hey - it's kind of my day. We had dinner and a beer, and watched an episode of something on the TV.

Now I can only hope together is going to be as good as today. And that tonight will be better than last night...
